At JC, our jewellery comes together in Jaipur, where making jewellery is not a new idea. It’s part of the city’s language.
Jaipur has long been connected to gemstones, jewellery making, cutting, polishing and craftsmanship. Generations of makers have built their skills around working with materials by hand.
Our pieces are made with that environment in mind.
Stones and beads are selected individually. They are sorted, arranged and combined before a piece comes together.
This matters because natural materials rarely behave like factory-made components.
Two stones from the same variety may not have exactly the same colour. Two pearls may have completely different shapes.
That’s why making jewellery by hand allows us to respond to the material rather than forcing every piece into exactly the same mould.
Made slowly. Checked carefully.
Every JC piece goes through the hands of our makers before it reaches you.
We look at the combination of materials, the proportions, the finishing and how the piece actually sits when worn.
Beads are strung by hand, one at a time, checked against the light for color and clarity before they make it onto a strand.
This is slower than the alternative. It's also why no two necklaces come out quite the same, even within the same design.
The result isn’t supposed to look machine-perfect.
It is supposed to feel considered.
