In these terms, “we”, “us” and “Jewels Crest” refer to Jewels Crest, and “you” refers to the person placing the order.

By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Prices

All prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable GST.

Shipping within India is free on every order.

International shipping is charged separately and is calculated and displayed at checkout based on the destination and shipment weight.

We reserve the right to change our prices at any time. However, any price change will not affect an order that has already been confirmed by us.

Cash on Delivery

COD orders require a 50% advance payment before dispatch.

A COD order is confirmed only once the 50% advance has been received. Until then, the piece remains available for purchase by other customers.

The remaining 50% is payable to the courier upon delivery.

Returns & Exchanges

All Jewels Crest purchases are final sale.

We do not accept returns, exchanges or refunds for change of mind, incorrect selection, personal preference, sizing preference or any other reason after an order has been placed.

Custom-made or specially sized pieces are also not eligible for return or exchange.

This policy does not affect your rights under applicable Indian consumer law. If a piece arrives damaged, defective or materially different from what was ordered, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery so that we can assess the issue and provide an appropriate resolution.

Where a refund is legally or otherwise appropriately due for a damaged, defective or incorrect item, the applicable refund will be processed accordingly.

Orders

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the selected product.

The contract of sale is formed when we confirm that your order has been dispatched.

We may decline or cancel an order before dispatch if:

The piece is unavailable or out of stock
A pricing or product information error has occurred
We are unable to verify the delivery address
We reasonably suspect fraudulent or unauthorised activity

If we cancel an order after payment has been received, the amount paid for the cancelled order will be refunded.

Materials & Product Information

Every Jewels Crest piece is made using 18k gold-plated brass or 925 sterling silver, unless otherwise stated on the individual product page.

The gold plating is a surface layer and is not solid gold. Like any plated jewellery, it may naturally wear over time, particularly in areas subject to friction such as clasps, edges and frequently touched surfaces.

Exposure to water, perfume, creams, cosmetics and chemicals can accelerate this process. This is a natural characteristic of plated jewellery and, in itself, is not considered a manufacturing defect.

Our jewellery uses precious, semi-precious stones and other natural materials. Each stone is selected individually, so variations in colour, size, texture, markings and veining are natural and expected.

These variations mean that a piece may differ subtly from the photographs shown on our website. They are part of the individuality of natural materials.

We make every effort to photograph our products as accurately as possible. However, colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen, device or display settings.

Care

Care instructions are provided on the relevant product page and should be followed to help preserve your jewellery.

Damage or deterioration resulting from water, perfume, cosmetics, chemicals, improper storage or ordinary wear over time is not considered a product defect.

Jewels Crest is not responsible for damage resulting from failure to follow the recommended care instructions.

Your Account & Information

If you create an account with Jewels Crest, you are responsible for keeping your login details confidential.

You agree to provide accurate and complete information when placing an order, particularly your shipping address, email address and contact number.

Jewels Crest is not responsible for delivery issues resulting from incorrect or incomplete information provided by you.

Our Content

All photographs, written content, product names, graphics, designs, branding and other original material appearing on this website belong to or are licensed to Jewels Crest.

You may not reproduce, copy, modify, distribute or commercially use our content without prior written permission.

We love seeing our pieces in the world. Reposting photographs of a Jewels Crest piece you have purchased, with appropriate credit to Jewels Crest, is welcome.

Our Responsibility

We are responsible for delivering the product you ordered in the condition and manner described on our website.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Jewels Crest will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from the purchase or use of our products or website.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any right, remedy or protection available to you under applicable Indian consumer law that cannot legally be excluded or limited by contract.

International Orders

International customers are responsible for complying with the import requirements of their destination country.

Any customs duties, import taxes, VAT, brokerage fees, handling charges or other destination-country charges are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in the amount paid at checkout.

Jewels Crest is not responsible for delays caused by customs or local authorities.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India.

Subject to any mandatory rights available to consumers under applicable law, disputes arising in connection with these terms or an order placed through this website shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Jaipur, Rajasthan.
